The Neighbourhood has seen significant development over the past two decades, and much of the housing stock is modern and well-maintained. The majority of homes in the Bronte Creek area are large, detached single-family houses. These homes typically feature spacious layouts with multiple bedrooms, modern finishes, and sizable lots. Many homes are built in newer developments from the early 2000s onwards.
 
West Oak Trails /Westmount neighbourhoods are primarily composed of detached homes, with some townhouses and condominium developments mixed in. The River Oaks neighbourhood underwent significant transformation from the late 1980s through the early 2000s. The majority of homes in River Oaks are larger detached single-family homes with multiple bedrooms, spacious yards, and modern layouts. These homes are typically priced in the mid- to high-range, depending on size and location. River Oaks also has a variety of townhouse and semi-detached homes, which are more affordable than detached properties but still offer a good amount of space.
 
College Park is centrally located in north Oakville and primarily consists of single-family homes, although there are also some townhouses and low-rise apartment buildings in the area. The homes in the Neighbourhood are typically built in the 1960s and 1970s and characterized by mature landscaping, spacious yards, and a mix of architectural styles, including traditional bungalows, two-storey houses, split levels and larger detached homes. Wedgewood Creek is primarily a residential Neighbourhood consisting of detached homes, semi-detached houses, and townhomes. Many of the homes in the area were built in the late 1980s and early 1990s, giving the Neighbourhood a mature and well-established feel. The majority of homes in Wedgewood Creek are detached, offering spacious properties with large lots, private driveways, and generous backyards. Wedgewood Creek offers easy access to shopping centers, grocery stores, and other amenities, making it a convenient place to live. 
 
Falgarwood is a quiet, family-oriented Neighbourhood located in the northeastern part of Oakville, featuring a mix of detached homes, typically 2-storey or bungalow-style houses, semi-detached houses, and townhouses, with most homes being built in the 1970s and 1980s. Over time, the Neighbourhood has evolved, with many properties undergoing renovations and updates. 

Glenorchy and Joshua Meadows are newer subdivisions in Oakville, primarily featuring modern, single detached homes, townhouses and condominiums. The area began development in 2012 and is on-going, so the housing stock is mostly new, offering contemporary designs, spacious interiors and high-quality finishes. The Neighbourhood tends to be high density with generous interior square footage and smaller lots. Townhomes are typically 2 stories with backyards or 3 stories without backyards. This area is in high demand.
